A SELECTION OF "IGNORED REPORTS", A HUGE SAFETY RISK!
A selection of IGNORED reports will be listed here. It will highlight the IGNORANCE towards me but more importantly the IGNORANCE towards SAFETY, this shambles of a management were absolutely clueless.
I will explain my reasoning behind each report and leave you as the witness to decide if my reasoning is justified.
Comments like, "Umpteenth request" and "still awaiting a reply" are commonplace in this selection of reports.
Fumes in the driving cab occurred while traveling through most tunnels, Standedge Tunnel was particularly bad, yet completely IGNORED.
The driving cabs on class 158 units were freezing in winter and extreme heat in summer, I did a report on "Heat Stress" and sent it to the Managing Director Vernon Barker and the CEO Moir Lockhead, in typical TPE tradition they IGNORED my concerns exactly like the present CEO Tim O'Toole up to now.

Platform 4 was a clear slip hazard, most of the time the roof leaked onto the platform, an even bigger problem when it iced over, did anyone take notice? What do you think?
A rather ironic report, TPE made a big deal about me failing to put in a written report, yet here we have the box these reports are placed inside being accessible and not emptied for days.
The other issues were as usual IGNORED, this was at a time when security was supposed to be high and all litter bins were removed from the station, in case someone placed a bomb out of sight, yet it was ok to leave them on trains!

This is dated around the time that the 185 units were first implemented into service, traction bulletin's were produced to inform train crew of issues with these units yet Newcastle, Manchester and York depot's had different bulletin's, this information should have had a thorough and proper briefing session, instead of having to read the information if you were lucky enough to be at that depot, it was the usual complete shambles.
This sadly was the way things were, I never received any response, you would think a member of the train crew management would have taken offence to this and responded, thinking however is not in their vocabulary, IGNORANCE however is.
What a complete joke Siemens Maintenance Depot was, instructions were made up, I received complaints from train crew the first night this place opened and had the misfortune to see for myself on the second night, it was in such a DANGEROUS state that I implemented a method of working to try and make it as safe as possible. DETAILS WILL FOLLOW (AS I ALWAYS BACK UP WITH EVIDENCE WHAT I SAY).
It is hard to believe that a new depot is opened and there was no communication whatsoever between TPE, Siemens and Network Rail, nobody had a clue what was expected of them. The outcome of the above report was the usual IGNORANCE.
